After arriving at the airport, we rented a car from Budget and drove to Cocoa Beach. We stayed at a local hotel and prepared for the next day. The car was a Jeep Commander and cost around $50 from the airport rental, pre-reserved. This allowed us to explore Cocoa Beach and see where the cruise ship terminal was located. Port Canaveral's cruise terminal is very nice, and has many venues near it. We ate at a nearby restaurant that was very good and had a view of the terminals. Now time for a good nights rest.

The reason we chose Budget was because they have a shuttle running constantly to and from the cruise terminal, we were able to checkout of the hotel, return our car and catch a ride to the terminal at no extra cost. Very easy!

Tip: don't get there too early, the shuttle will be shuttling from the terminals for exiting cruisers, to the terminal doesn't start until around 11am.
When we were returning our car, we got to watch the Space X Falcon 9 rocket launch and subsequent failure! It was amazing to see and hear!
